A series of Pictures showing an Artificial Grass Installation contract at Aughton Town Green Primary School, Lancashire.

The School had an area of traditional grass which had become tired and prone to becoming muddy in the winter months.

The School decided to have Artificial Grass installed to provide a clean and safe all-weather surface for the children to play upon.

Have a look at what our team did:

The existing grass was removed by digger.

It all had to come up, back to bare soil!

We employed the services of a local grab wagon Contractor who removed the waste from site.

Additionally, we brought in to site the ‘MOT Type 1’ stone which was to act as the main base layer.

Tanalised timbers were installed around the entire perimeter.

The stone is spread out over the entire area.

And compacted!

The Limestone Dust is also laid and compacted.

The grass is laid out in preparation for laying.

Joins needed to be carefully glued together.

What a difference.

Dressing sand applied to the entire surface.
