We are delighted to introduce our ‘Rubber Surface Overspray System’.
It consists of a high quality colour pigmented aliphatic binder which has extremely high UV and wear tolerance.
This system can be used to enhance and rectify numerous situations with existing rubber surfaces.
In situations whereby bonded rubber mulch surfaces are looking exhausted or perhaps the rubber particles are becoming loose, this cost-effective solution may help. It is very likely the surface is structurally performing well but it would benefit from an overspray as part of a 3 year maintenance programme.
Also, bonded rubber mulch surfaces can lose colour and may leach black carbon from the rubber, this system will allow for a new colour coating whilst enhancing the the surface structure on the surface.
How does the system work?
Firstly, we perform a comprehensive inspection of the area and carry out any repairs which may need tackling; this may involve the cutting out, removal and replacement of sections of the surface.
Next, we thoroughly clean the surface using specialist but environmentally friendly cleaning solutions.
Thereafter, using our specialised paint and binder application system, we apply a ‘UV stable’ polyurethane binder and catalyst over the entire surface which ‘resin binds’ the surface and helps prevent surface movement and fretting.
This coating can be applied in a clear solution if you wish to retain the colours of the surface, or alternatively we can apply it along with a polyurethane paint solution which will provide a striking new vibrant colour to the surface.
